Frequently Asked Questions

1. BASIC TECHNICAL DATA ABOUT THE MOTORS - DIMENSIONS, MASS BEFORE AND AFTER OPERATION, MOTOR OPERATION TIME AND TYPICAL WORKING DIAGRAMS.
All the technical data regarding motors will be published with the Bulletin No 2. This document will be available on the official website www.spacemodeling.rs
2. FIVE MOTORS LIMIT PER COMPETITOR. WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE IN CASE OF FLY-OFF OR MISFIRE?
Five motors per competitor are enough for three basic flights and two additional.
The maximum number of motors is 5 per competitor, not per motors manufacturer.
However, if additional motors are needed, in cases such as a misfire, explosion or sixth flight, competitors will be able to obtain additional motors.
Additional motors will be held by RSO, in the locked case. Competitors may collect additional motors under the supervision of RSO.
For the competition class S7 and S8 there are no limits to the number of motors. Competitors will be able to obtain more or less than five, based on their needs.
3. MOROTS FOR TRAINING FLIGHTS
Motors used for the training flights teams should provide by themselves. These motors can be of any manufacturer or they can be ordered from the producers listed on the organizer's website together with their contact information.
4. MOTOR DELAY TIMES - WHICH VALUES WE CAN REQUEST
When ordering the motor, it is necessary to specify the motor tracer's working time from 0-6 seconds in 1 second increments. (A-1-3 and not A-1-3.5).
5. HOW DO WE SPECIFY MULTIPLE DELAY TIMES OF ONE MOTOR TYPE IN THE MOTORS ORDER FORM? I.E., A 1-2, A 1-3
If you have three competitors competing in classes S3, S4, S6, and S9, the team will be entitled to take 60 motors in class A, but they can have different tracers (for example: 20 units of A 1-1, 20 units of A 1-5, and 20 units of A 2-3).
6. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF MOTORS ORDER FORM? REDUCTION OF MOTORS ORDER
As specified in the Bulletin 1 the final date for ordering motors is 15 th of March and the payment deadline is not later than end of May.
